My wife and I visited the Showmars in Kannapolis yesterday, and it has quickly become our favorite location. It’s about the same distance from our house as the University location, but this restaurant is significantly better than both the University and Mint Hill locations. The restaurant itself is beautiful, modern, bright, exceptionally clean, and still feels very new. The atmosphere made for a great dining experience. One thing that really stood out was the outstanding customer service. The young lady who took our order at the register was incredibly kind and even helped us find a way to order our meal that saved us a little money. That level of honesty and customer care is something you don’t see every day, and it was greatly appreciated. We ended up spending about $31 for two chicken pitas, popcorn shrimp, and a mini meal, and every bite was excellent. The chicken pitas were absolutely phenomenal, especially with the signature sauce. We’ll definitely be making the Kannapolis location our go-to Showmars from now on. Highly recommend!

This is my go to for fresh food and quality food. Show mars has the best salads 🥗 in the world. 🌎 Great customer service. Options to dine in 🍽 as well as take out. There is also a drive through at this particular location.

As an Antiochian Orthodox Christian, I observe fasting during the Lenten season, which means going long stretches without meat. As difficult as that can be at times, Shomar’s really makes it much easier to get through. Their fish sandwiches are incredible—especially the classic fish sandwich with tartar sauce. It’s simple, but consistently very good. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for solid meat-free options. My family really enjoys going there together, and it’s been a regular spot for us over the years. I believe my brother even worked there for a time, which makes it feel even more connected to our family. Overall, it’s a great place with reliable food and especially strong options for anyone avoiding meat.

We went here today with some friends who invited us. We arrived there around 1:30, after the lunch rush. I was excited about getting the fish sandwich, I've heard only good things about it. We all ordered and sat down. Very clean establishment. Every employee we came across was very friendly and professional. Our food came out quickly. I ordered the fish sandwich with cheese & crinkle fries, my wife ordered the burger pita. Our friends ordered the lamb pita & fish sandwich & tots. My fish sandwich was nice and hot & packed high with white fish. It was exceptional! My fries could of been hotter, they were warm at best, however, they were tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We will go back for round 2.

I have been a loyal Showmars Customer for some time. I eat here for lunch quite often and have noticed getting less and less food the past 3 times. Today I got a meal with 12 fries, half a tender, and a very small tender. I said something to the waitress who just walked away. I then told another staff member who talked to whoever was in charge but when she came back said “I tried.” I didn’t want anything other than a reason I received such a small amount of food or a “we will do better next time.” I cannot believe no one cared except 1 employee. Who thinks this picture is acceptable?
